Peanut butter cookies
I used to bake these with peanut butter bought in stores - not bad, fat and sugar full peanut butter, but not homemade either. This time, I had a jar made a few weeks before. I had made a slightly rough peanut butter, far from creamy and smooth, and until these cookies I was doubtful. Nevermore. It was great.
- 125g crunchy peanut butter with bits
- 30g softened butter
- 150g brown sugar
- 150g flour
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Optional: Marshmallows, peanuts, hand-chopped smurfs.
